Dr. Ashlee Hesbrook, Assistant Principal
Dr. Ashlee Marie Hesbrook is the Assistant Principal at UTRGV Edinburg CISD Collegiate High and a proud native of Edinburg, Texas. She graduated in the top 10% of the Class from Johnny G. Economedes High School (JEHS). She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry, a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from The University of Texas–Pan American, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Texas A&M University–Kingsville.
Dr. Hesbrook began her career in education with Edinburg CISD in 2007 as a science teacher. She later moved to Washington, D.C., where she expanded her professional experience in the field of education for five years. Upon returning to Edinburg, she served as a Curriculum Assistant principal at Memorial Middle School for seven years, supporting campus leadership, instructional initiatives, and student achievement.
With more than 18 years of experience in education, Dr. Hesbrook is deeply committed to advancing academic excellence, supporting and developing educators, and creating meaningful opportunities for student success. She is passionate about cultivating a positive and inclusive school culture where students are empowered to grow, lead, and achieve their fullest potential.
